MagnifiSCENT Creations is a boutique candle shop founded in Ohio.

Fragrance plays a large part of who I am.  My first true hobby is surprisingly baking.  I remember helping my mom bake different things while I was growing up, but nothing better than her Carrot Cake! When I say I helped my mom with her Carrot Cake, I really mean just grating the carrots.  That’s all she trusted me with and I don’t blame her one bit! Letting me do anything else would’ve been a little dangerous back then. On the plus side…my pay for grating those carrots was licking the spoon! (Who am I kidding…I licked the spoon, bowl and spatula!).  I think all of the smells and aromas that come from baking gives me a bit of nostalgia and reminds me of when I was growing up.

My love for candles goes back to when I was in middle school.  I vividly remember going over my older brother’s house one day and being met with this sweet, delectable aroma as soon as I walked through the door.  I later found out that the scent of that candle was Vanilla Buttercream and it has been one of my favorites ever since.

Another one of my loves is cologne.  I actually love it a little too much, but you can never have too many fragrances!  At least that's what I tell myself.  Our sense of smell is extremely powerful and it's amazing how certain scents evoke different memories within us.  When I smell Sean John Unforgivable I instantly think back to college and all of the memories I made over those years while I was wearing it. Creed Aventus reminds me of being on the Vegas strip with some of my best friends having an amazing time.  I think wearing a great fragrance is a perfect way to leave a lasting impression on people but above all else....who doesn't want to smell amazing!?
