Top 5 Fragrances for Spring 2023
I recently took a trip down to Florida a few weeks ago. The weather was beautiful the entire time and that made it hard getting on the plane to come back to Ohio. This trip got me excited for spring, and with it right around the corner I figured I'd make a list of the 5 fragrances I anticipate on wearing the most this year.
Top 5 Colognes for Spring 2023
5.) Moschino Toy Boy - This cologne is the epitome of "never judge a book by its cover". Toy Boy was released back in 2019, and contains top notes of Italian bergamot and pink pepper. The mid notes include rose and magnolia, while the base notes of Haitian vetiver and cashmere complete the scent. This scent is unisex due to the floral notes but there is certainly a masculine vibe to it.
4.) Dolce & Gabbana The One Royal Night - This fragrance was released in 2015 is a flanker to the popular Dolce & Gabbana The One. This is classified as an oriental/woody scent and is definitely the darkest scent on this list. The top notes have cardamom, while the middle notes consist of nutmeg and pear wood. The base notes round out this fragrance with amber, sandalwood and cedar. This cologne is perfect for those cool spring nights...especially a date night.
3.) Bond No. 9 I Love New York for Him - This limited edition cologne was released back in 2011 and is classified as a spicy aromatic scent. It features top notes of bright grapefruit and fresh berries, and middle notes of lavender and leather. The fragrance is rounded out with base notes of amber and sandalwood. This fresh masculine scent is perfect for any spring day.
2.) Dua Brand Casino Elixir - Casino Elixir is a hybrid fragrance released by the clone house Dua Brand. They specialize in releasing fragrances that are dupes of existing scents and also making their own unique creations. Casino Elixir is a hybrid created by mixing Creed Aventus and Baccarat Rouge 540 from Maison Francis Kurkdjian. It does a masterful job of blending the smoky pineapple vibe from Aventus with the sweet cotton candy feel from BR 540. I definitely recommend checking this fragrance house out!
1.) Gucci Pour Homme II - At the top of my list is Gucci Pour Home II. This woody/spicy scent was released back in 2007 and is easily one of the most complimented fragrances in my collection. The top notes are violet leaf and bergamot and the middle notes feature the true star of the show; black tea and cinnamon. Finally the base notes of tobacco leaf and musk bring this composition together. This is an extremely unique scent that will remain a staple in my collection.
